Las Vegas, NV, USA – This week marks the opening of the inaugural World Pickleball Convention, drawing a large international audience.
The event features presentations from over 50 distinguished pickleball leaders representing 11 different countries, covering a variety of topics impacting the sport.
Attendees can explore a trade show showcasing hundreds of innovative products and exhibits, participate in an indoor tournament on advanced court flooring, attend clinics led by the world’s top professional player, and view a fashion show highlighting the latest court apparel trends.
Additionally, there will be demo courts for testing new equipment, professional matches, and a kid’s clinic where participants will receive a free paddle.
“The World Pickleball Convention has something for everyone, with exhibitors and speakers from around the globe, reflecting the sport’s rapid growth beyond the U.S.,” said George Domaceti, CEO of the World Pickleball Convention.
“To kick off the event, USA Pickleball Chairman Robert Quicksilver will deliver a State of the Union address, followed by Chief Operating Officer Justin Maloof discussing the sport’s international expansion during the Global Pickleball Federation panel.”
Maloof added, “We are thrilled to be part of one of the largest events in our sport’s history. As the National Governing Body, USA Pickleball’s participation in this global gathering of industry leaders is vital.
We look forward to contributing to discussions that will propel pickleball forward.”
Notable attendees include Steve Kuhn, founder of Major League Pickleball, and Pranav Kohli, founder of Pickleball United and the World Series of Pickleball.
The conference will be moderated by Carl Foster, host of CBS Sports’ Inside World Pickleball, and Kaitlyn Kerr, GM and Owner of the Las Vegas Night Owls, a Major League Pickleball team co-owned by Tom Brady, Kaitlyn Kerr, and others.
The World Pickleball Convention is open to business attendees and the public starting Thursday, June 6th at 10 am, and will conclude on Saturday, June 8th at 4 pm.
The tournament will continue inside the convention center until the championship matches finish on Sunday, June 9th.
