In Mumbai alone, Global Sports has contributed to building 50 out of the city’s 500 pickleball courts. The organization has also made strides internationally, opening its first dedicated pickleball center in Dubai.

These tournaments have drawn national and international talent, including renowned athletes like Andrei Daescu, Susannah Barr, Sania Mirza, and Rohan Bopanna.

Initiatives such as the Pro and Challenger leagues, featuring 10 professional teams, 10 challenger teams, and 100 players, are helping to nurture talent and prepare them for international competition.
“These leagues offer invaluable learning experiences and exposure, ensuring Indian players are ready to compete on a global stage,” says Ruia. “Our aim is to replicate the success of cricket’s IPL by providing young athletes with a platform to dream big and build rewarding careers.”
Pickleball’s appeal also extends to older generations, with the Senior Pro division offering competitive opportunities for players aged 35 and above.
