The 4th Nationals PWR700 stands as India’s most prominent and celebrated pickleball tournament, showcasing the finest players from across the nation.

Scheduled from January 23rd to 26th, the event will be hosted at Bennett University and is set to break records with its scale.

Over 700 participants representing 25 states are expected to compete, marking this as the largest pickleball tournament ever held in India.

This remarkable level of participation reflects the rapid growth and popularity of pickleball in the country. Players from diverse regions and backgrounds will demonstrate their skills on 20 world-class courts.

These include 10 dedicated pickleball courts designed specifically for the sport and an additional 10 top-notch Pickleball United Courts, ensuring ample space for matches and practice sessions.

Adding to the excitement, the tournament will feature some of India’s elite pickleball athletes, including Armaan Bhatia, Aditya Ruhela, Harsh Mehta, and Dhiren Patel.

What is a PWR 700 Event?

The PWR 700 tournament offers players an opportunity to improve their rankings on the PWR DUPR system, a unified global ranking framework for pickleball enthusiasts.

In this event, participants can earn up to 700 ranking points, making it a significant competition on the international pickleball calendar.

In 2024, Delhi’s RK Khanna Tennis Complex hosted the PWR DUPR India Masters, another PWR 700 event, which saw the participation of 750 players from around the world.

The tournament featured five main categories: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Additionally, competitions were held for various age groups, including 35+, Junior, 50+, and 60+.

As a highlight of the event, Bennett University also hosted an exhibition match between Men’s Singles finalists Armaan Bhatia from India and Dustin Boyer from the USA, showcasing high-level international talent in the sport.
