The Norwalk Senior Center recently found itself at the center of a heated debate over proposed changes to its pickleball fee structure. Initially planning to introduce a $60 monthly fee for access to the gym, where pickleball enthusiasts gather, the center faced swift opposition from its dedicated players. However, following a meeting between board members and over 35 concerned pickleball enthusiasts, the implementation of the fee was postponed for a month, allowing for further discussion and negotiation.
